NEWS: SHORE LEAVE 2008
All the Star Trek book news announced at this year's Shore Leave convention.


The Shore Leave Star Trek convention is held every year, and amongst its attractions is a Pocket Books panel, in which many forthcoming TrekLit projects are announced.

Below is the TrekLit schedule for the next few months. Stuff newly-announced at Shore Leave (or online following the original announcement) is marked with 'NEW'. Web links are provided for additional information.


SEPTEMBER 2008

Star Trek: Enterprise - KOBAYASHI MARU

Announced previously, another post-finale ENT book. Cover art can be seen on TrekMovie.com.

NEW: Picks up where The Good That Men Do left off, and leads into both Destiny and The Romulan War, according to an article on TrekMovie.com.

Star Trek 101
by Terry J. Erdmann and Paula M. Block

Announced several years ago, finally due for release. A complete primer to the Star Trek universe for new fans.

Calendars

NEW: 2009 will see a Star Trek: The Original Series and a Ships of the Line calendar released, following the same pattern as last year, according to TrekMovie.com. Keith R.A. DeCandido confirms September as a release date on Trek BBS.

OCTOBER 2008

Star Trek: Corps of Engineers - WOUNDS
